"Nasalrod play a spastic take on prog metal that would appeal to fans of Mr Bungle, Brainiac, Jesus Lizard, Primus, or Minutemen. Spit Stix, drummer for punk legends Fear, sits behind the kit, and he’s joined by Mandy Morgan (bass and backing vocals), Mustin Douch (guitar and backing vocals), and Chairman (lead vocals).

Their new track is from an upcoming Nadine Records compilation that also features songs from the likes of Hair Puller, Dark Numbers, and more.

“When we’re playing live I feel like we’re throwing a party, and we’re the hosts,” Chairman says. “This song is inspired by Cheap Trick’s ‘Hello There,’ which I’ve always thought was the perfect ‘welcome to the party’ intro song.”"

"The genre police will never close the case on Nasalrod. You can't call them punk because you'd be selling them short. They don't play noise rock because their songs have structure, even a dance-ability at times. You could almost call them a pop band, but they're way too heavy and aggressive. They're a band of musical masterminds that can't be caught."
